I was able to step out into a mild and sunny day yesterday morning. I went to one of my favorite locations to focus on some morning reflections. Swain Lake is the start of the Falling Waters Trail that runs some ten miles from Concord into Jackson, Michigan where it connects with a three plus miles city trail. Walkers and bicyclists use the trail as well as the occasional fisherman. This dock caught my eye because of its clear reflection in the water, as did the trees.
Trees Here and There
Even a feeding swan had a rippling reflection.
Farther down the trail, I was fortunate to get a picture of an oriole in the morning sun.
The horse vane and archer images came from some later-in-the-morning gravel road wandering. I think the archer is reminding all of us to aim high.
