Japanese Gardens: Structure

The Japanese Garden is the newest addition to the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The eight acre garden was two years in the planning and four years in the construction. It is a tranquil and contemplative place well worth a visit. To learn more about the garden see Japanese Garden</. Today's post is intended to give you a sense of the structure of the garden. More to follow.

Mom’s Garden

Jo and I had a chance to celebrate my mom’s 83rd birthday with her in upstate New York. She lives on a large corner lot and cares for multiple flower gardens. In the Spring she has over 1200 daffodils and when they fade away dead heads them all! Here are images from her gardens.
