Barns, Rope, Silos & Windows

The thing that caught our eyes first about this barn was the sunbeams shining throught the roof.

The rope asked more questions than it answered.

This barn was accompanied by a tiled silo.silo

Later in our meanderings we came across a silo reminiscent of a Medieval tower.

Near the end of our journey these windows made us smile.

I am not sure what drives me to photograph daylilies. Heaven knows I have enough images, but perhaps it is the words of Jesus:  “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Growing up as a preacher’s kid, I heard this verse often. The message is really a simple one . . . don’t worry. Or in the words of Alfred E. Neuman, “What? Me worry?” Or perhaps Crocodile Dundee. “No worries mate.” Or even the Jamaican “Don’t worry. Be happy.” My hope is that these images might ease your worries.
